At Blue Coding, we’ve onboarded hundreds of software developers onto a wide variety of teams over the years, from complete teams with both on-site and remote developers to one-man operations bringing on their first engineer. 

Through trial and error, we’ve identified best practices to follow and pitfalls to avoid when onboarding new remote developers. We’ve compiled our internal policies and guidelines for making sure new developers get up to speed quickly, and we’d like to share what we’ve learned with you.
